Here is a definition from Wikipedia "Kidney stones, also called renal calculi, are solid concretions (crystal aggregations) of dissolved minerals in urine; calculi typically form inside the kidneys or bladder. The terms nephrolithiasis and urolithiasis refer to the presence of calculi in the kidneys and urinary tract, respectively.Renal calculi can vary in size from as small as grains of sand to as large as a golf ball. Kidney stones typically leave the body by passage in the urine stream, and many stones are formed and passed without causing symptoms. If stones grow to sufficient size before passage - on the order of at least 2-3 millimeters - they can cause obstruction of the ureter. The resulting obstruction with dilation or stretching of the upper ureter and renal pelvis as well as spasm of muscle, trying to move the stone, can cause severe episodic pain, most commonly felt in the flank, lower abdomen and groin (a condition called renal colic). Renal colic can be associated with nausea and vomiting due to the embryological association of the kidneys with the intestinal tract. Hematuria (bloody urine) is commonly present due to damage to the lining of the urinary tract." (Wikipedia) How do you handle kidney stones? 1) 1st try two shot glasses in the morning and 2 in the evening of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. 2) Olive oil and lemon Juice Here is what Loren has to say... 04/02/2012: Loren from Denver, Colorado: "Today, in desperation for relief from the pain of a kidney stone, I found this site, and was quickly convinced that it would be worth the try to use the combination of fresh squeezed lemon juice and Extra Virgin Olive Oil to relieve my pain. I had to go to the store which was a challenge in itself, but, bought the ingredients, came home, mixed it up at 1:30, and by 4:30 the pain I've had for 6 days went away. TRY IT! YOU'VE GOT NOTHING TO LOSE, and it will save a trip to the emergency room." 3) Lemon Juice Here's what Garden Lady in Orlando Fla says I feel for everyone who goes through this! One day someone told me about the lemon juice. It is a miracle! No more hospital rooms for me! I am writing this while waiting for a stone to pass. I am not doubled over and even got to eat today. I am soooo grateful. If only someone like the kidney specialist had recommended this!! Also, I spoke with someone from South America and they have a tea they use especially for the stones and said it passes in a few hours. How sad that more do not know these things. Please pass the word to others- they deserve the relief!!! I make a bottle of water and squirt in about 3 big squirts of lemons juice or at least 3 tablespoons and drink it constantly." 4) Chance Piedra Here's what Dawna of Albuquerque says.. So as I was researching and found out about chance piedra I went to a local health food store and bought a tincture. Took it 4 times the first day, a dropperfull in 8 ounces of water. I also drank apple juice and water throughout the day. In the pee strainer appeared small mounds of what looked like wet sugar. Most of it came out the first day and by the second day I believe all of it had come out. I put the sugar in another dish and when it dried it was a bright white color of what I believe was the pulverized calcium oxalate stone. (80% are) There was no pain and I am ecstatic. If this will help someone else avoid the awful pain of passing stones I am happy to pass it along." So there should be enough info here to get you through your kidney stone ailments.
