Be A Santa To A Senior's biggest year ever! Thanks to you!

From serving Santa lunch to visiting with my favorite 95 year old gift recipient, and everything in between... my sleigh is finally empty! It was my pleasure to once again facilitate Home Instead Senior Care's Be A Santa To A Senior program. Thanks again to all of you who helped make this event possible. It was such an honor working with all of you this holiday season. We delivered 900 gifts to needy and lonely seniors in the Racine and Kenosha county areas. Your compassion and generosity is exemplary and very much appreciated by more people than you can imagine. I have attached a thank you from one a director of one of the senior facilities that received gifts. The snip it is in regard to one of the senior citizens you touched in our community. A thank you from the director of one of the low income senior homes that participated in the Be A Santa To A Senior program: “Christmas is just another day of the month for many lonely people, but now, the residents are asking about the Christmas.  Mildred, an 89-year-old widow who never had children and lived alone, told us that knowing someone cared enough to give her a gift was more important than the gift itself. Her face lit up with a million dollar smile, and it brightened up the whole day.” Please feel free to share it with any or all of the people who participated in the Santa to a Senior program. Again, I thank you for all you kindness, and I hope your goodwill comes back to you three-fold in the New Year!
