Mike installed a new air conditioner in May of this year that hasn't worked properly since its installation. It cost me nearly $2500 and he said it was under warranty. However, when I called for service, Mike failed to show for 2 appointments and won't return my calls.
It takes 5 hours to bring the house down 3 degrees from 77 to 74 when it's only 83 degrees outside. My house is only 1100 sf, and it just shouldn't take that long. He was also supposed to install a condenser pump.
He came out once to check the AC; he said it was fine. It's not fine.
He was supposed to come out and install a condenser pump; he was a no-show for that appointment. When I called to find out why I was made to wait TWO HOURS for nothing, Angie was incredibly rude to me on the phone. She finally handed the phone to Mike, who set another appointment to fix it: Today between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. That time came and went and he never showed. I called, Mike answered, and he said that the appointment was for 9 a.m., completely forgetting that we had moved it up to 8 a.m. so that he could check out the AC trouble also. He argued with me about it. Then he said he'd be here before 11 a.m. That time also came and went--he was a no show again. I called 10 times--he won't answer his phone. At this point I no longer trust anything he tells me and I want him to come take this AC back and return ALL my money. I'll start fresh with a repairman I can trust.
Incredibly unprofessional. I have already filed a complaint with the BBB and if it isn't resolved, I'll be suing him in Small Claims Court.
