I was a customer of Unique Visions Nursery and Landscape, Inc. (UVNL) for ten years. Every Tuesday they cut my lawn and trimmed my hedges; every first of the month I sent them my check. Recently, UVNL decided to trim my thirty-year-old, six-foot-high hedges down to 12 inches. Not only did this cause eight of my healthy hedges to die; UVNL also pulled down the fence panels from the north end of my backyard when they removed the five feet of cut hedges. When I contacted UVNL's President to fix the damage they created, they told me that the hedges died due to too much rain. As far as the fence they tore down, UVNL said it was due to the fence being dilapidated. All I know is that I had a standing fence with lush green hedges before UVNL created the current situation. All I have asked of UVNL is that they 1) replace the fence panels they pulled down and 2) replant the eight hedges they killed. To date, this has not occurred. One side note, UVNL has cancelled me as a customer claiming Covid as their excuse. Meanwhile, I remain current on all of my payments due UVNL.
