Centennial is just AWFUL! FIRST OF ALL, THEIR WEBSITE DOESN'T EVEN LET STUDENTS SEE THEIR TEACHERS WEBSITES, AND IS A CONFUSING WEBPAGE. IT CONFUSES EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY JUST TO GO TO THEIR WEBSITE BECAUSE IT IS SO UNORGANIZED. HOW CAN STUDENTS TURN IN THEIR ASSIGNMENTS ON TIME IF THEY CAN'T EVEN FIND TEACHER'S WEBSITE? AND MOST OF ALL, HOW CAN THEY EVEN ACCEPT STUDENTS IF THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO TELL THEM ABOUT EVERYTHING ABOUT THEIR SCHOOL? IF NEW STUDENTS COME TO THIS SCHOOL, THOSE NEW STUDENTS WILL BE WISHING THEY WENT TO ANY OTHER PLACE THAN CENTENNIAL.
Also, the uniform requirements? Absolutely outrageous! I could buy my daughter and son a IPOD or IPAD by now, if it weren't for the money parents buy on their students uniforms. Think about it! Protest against having uniforms, and every student forced to go to this school could bring a ereader or a ipad to school and get better education!
The williamson county memebers need to think about what they are doing to kids all around the county. If they were smart enough, they would know that uniforms are not needed for public schools. They would know that websites would have to be precise, and that new students will be able to get all the information they need about the school.
I can't believe that this school, CHS, put so much effort into the hands of UNIFORMS and didn't even focus on student's studies. WTF, people who manage williamson county schools! Please just realize that education should be important, not clothes! The typical dress code for Ravenwood High, for example, is a perfect way to establish the needs and limits of how boys or girls dress around the school. In return, student's are happy, and at the same time they study better than Centennial students.
