We used this moving service company based entirely on this site and the comments left here, and so I wanted to leave a rave review here for our recent move. My company was paying for the service, the $1260 price quote came in under that amount, and I liked the way I was treated and our communication with Janet, so we booked them for our long distance move.

Their staff arrived 15 minutes early and loaded our third-floor two-bedroom apartment in about 3 hours. They were very careful with everything, and dealt with care and really well with our furniture. The amount they could haul was amazing! We met them in the city and they sent an extra guy to help with the unload, which made it a lot quicker considering the small elevator. The unload took about 2.5 hours, so the whole day (load, drive, unload) took 12 hours. They came in a little over the estimate, but we paid the capped rate and we gave just over a $250 tip.

We really liked their help from the customer service, and their rates and the pricing policy. The guys were all very nice, friendly, and professional. We definitely plan to use them again if possible in future moves.

We were moving our furniture from our house to a storage unit in the same neighborhood last month. We decided to hire this local moving service company based on our previous experience with these guys in 2009. We were extremely pleased with the help we've got from their Customer Service lady.

The entire stuff including our moving crew and the Office staff were courteous, professional, and worked very hard, helping us to schedule our relocation and the movers for carrying heavy furniture and boxes up and down stairs for 5+hours. When I moved from my old apartment in Midtown Manhattan to a new place in Soho, I used the moving service of Packers Movers - NY Movers , and it was my first experience moving my furniture with a local mover so I didn't know what to expect. I had heard from some of my friends how many movers are kind and courteous till they take your money and then the work is outsourced to some other company. Well but I had to move so I called the first company that I saw online with a decent number of positive reviews and that was this mover . When I called their Customer Service office they were very friendly and their office manager nice and friendly young lady gave me a price quote that was very accurate. I wasn’t charged extra for anything except $75 for packaging some of my stuff I decided to add. The driver and the movers were at my house on time and my stuff was delivered with no damages and on time. I would be happy to recommend this company to my friends and to anyone planning on moving soon. They packed and wrapped everything with care and the entire move happened to be just a stress-free moving experience! I used Packers -Movers - NY Movers for my move as well as my office move locally here in Manhattan. Dave was exceptional in leading his movers' team, while moving my furniture including some really heavy items and boxes. Not only were my moves done efficiently, but they also wrapped with like personal care all of my items and saved me time and headaches from doing it myself. I was also working on a tight budget and they gave me a good flat rate price, and the entire service was excellent! What else can I say regarding their moving service? I just moved with these guys of Packers Movers - NY Movers . I first want to express how friendly their staff was; their foreman Mike, Chris and the other guy from the company's Customer service his name is Andrew were great. They arrived right on time and went straight to work wrapping my furniture and stacking boxes. They were fast, efficient and very professional and worked with care. This local moving company was recommended to me by a friend who had hired them twice previously and was very pleased. I called the Office and got a very competitive price quote after describing the job. They provided me with what they call an "All-inclusive, Flat-rate Quote”, you know in the beginning what price you will pay, no ugly surprises. When the guys finished my 2 bedroom move locally I paid $420 including tips, they didn't charge me for a travel time, no fuel taxes whatever and I will definitely call these movers again as well as recommend this moving service provider and consider them one of the Best local moving companies in the area. We had a terrific move with Remarkable from Manhattan to Brooklyn. It's always nerve-wracking putting all of your possessions into the care of strangers, but the team of movers was friendly, efficient, and careful with all of our stuff. ..
Remarkable wasn't the lowest cost of everyone we called, but they sent someone over to our house to give an official estimate and made me feel comfortable that we wouldn't end up being charged extra after all of our stuff was on the truck (that's happened to people I know before). Plus they were willing to come down a bit in price to make the deal. I felt like I got a reasonable price for moving a lot of stuff...
Our four movers--David, Danny Silver., Robert Dino, and Jerome Robinson--did a terrific job. Plus they were a great group of guys! They took great care with all of our furniture and wrapped everything very well, plus brought their own wardrobe boxes and packed up our hanging clothes and bedding for us.
We really weren't fully prepared or packed for this move, but the Remarkable team made it easy. I had expected them to tell me they couldn't move some things because they weren't included in the original estimate, but they did it all...

I never moved and I have to admit I was very reluctant at first deciding whether or not I should move myself or allow a moving company to move me. I had dozens of moving companies calling me to help me with my move OMG!!!! We recently completed our last minute move with Packers -Movers - NY Movers from Manhattan to Lodi, NJ. We didn't have a big house to move or anything just a 1 bedroom apartment. When the guys did arrive the next morning they showed up at 8:30 which was a little earlier than we had expected but those guys must be real morning people because I have never seen some guys work so efficiently at moving furniture. They had our place packed and ready to go in a little over 2 hours. The last few times we've moved it's taken the movers the majority of the day to pack up our place. These guys were hard working and very quick about it. I could tell these guys were the real pros and it really showed. That made us feel very good about our decision to use this Manhattan based moving company!!!

I have used this company twice first time in 2007 when I hired their movers to ship my furniture from Miami to New York City and last time this month for a small local move from Manhattan to Brooklyn Heights and both times I was very satisfied with their service. In 2007 it was a huge 3 bedroom house 1300 miles move and everything went well, this time I moved a dining room set, a bedroom set and few boxes just 20 minutes away. We used Packers -Movers - NY Movers in SOUTH HAMPTON NY. They were fantastic and would highly recommend these movers. They were efficient and were so accommodating with anything we wanted. To move furniture around once placed and best of all they were the nicest people who worked very hard. My experience with the Packers -Movers - NY Movers was above and beyond anything I was expecting. I was prepared for a no-frills type of move--I'm low-maintenance and also saw prior reviews about potential gruff telephone interactions.
The person with whom I scheduled my move was incredibly pleasant and followed up a few days before the date to confirm. Everything went swimmingly from start to finish.
First of all, they were punctual, arriving at our apartment at exactly the time they said they would. There were three guys and they HUSTLED. They were literally jogging back and forth to make sure that it was the most efficient move possible. The women who helped me were really friendly and asked all the right questions about my move so she could get the info she needed to the movers. I told her I had a couch that would likely have to be hoisted over the balcony because it wouldn't fit through the door, and she said that was no problem. I chose 3 movers for $ 105/hr (because 3 men were needed for the couch).

They hoisted the couch over the balcony with no trouble at all, and shrink wrapped all my stuff to keep it protected. Then they drove from Pasadena to the storage unit in OC where my stuff was being stored. They got slightly lost, but didn't charge me for that extra time when it came time to settle the bill. All in all, the move couldn't have gone more smoothly, and they were super careful with all of my belongings. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Packers -Movers - NY Movers helped my husband and I move from a one bedroom/loft in Manhattan to a one bedroom in Brooklyn exactly one month ago today. Good deal, on-time arrival at 10 AM as requested, super professional care, excellent service, friendly communication, efficient use of their time and our time.
FYI: Book early if you desire a weekend move - with almost a month in advance we still had to settle for a Thursday or a Monday. Considering the savings (compared to our previous moves with a national chain) however, they were definitely worth taking the day off work.

Movers Excellent Fast and Reliable Movers. After searching on google, yahoo and ask we finally tried our luck on citysearch. Finding a reliable mover in New York City can be a big job. After locating Movers we were delighted to end up with GOOD people. We needed to move from our apartment in tribeca to flatiron. from a non elevator building to a 3rd floor condo elevator building. a 3 bedroom apartment was moved for under just $1500 including packing, boxes and setup. After hearing so many scary stories from my friends and family that moved in the past i was so skeptical about moving with a moving company. But the problem was i wasn't about to do it on my own either. Basically i put my trust in this NY Movers and i must say i'm surprised! 3 bedrooms two bathrooms, 2000 square feet and tons of belongings all moved so easily. The team worked non stop to get everything going and moved out. The only thing i could really complain about is that i didn't get the workout of lifting all that heavy stuff myself. I give you guys an A for all the effort you put in. NY Movers is the way to go!

My experience with Packers -Movers - NY Movers
was top-notch. Yuval was terrific to work with, and Henry and his team of movers were amazing. I don't know how we could have managed our move from Evansville, Indiana to Manhattan without them. They moved several super sized mirrors and pieces of art, along with some antique furniture and dishes that have a lot of sentimental value. They were so professional and smart in everything they did, and really nice too.

Because of the large scale furniture, the pieces look like they would not make it up the two flights of angle stairs. In order to complete this feat, the movers work to remove my stair railing to allow for every possible position to get my furniture into my new home. IT WORKED!!!! I was so grateful and please to know that the crew would go the extra mile to ensure that my furniture made it through the almost to narrow stairway.

Additionally, even though I had said there was no urgency for a fixed date for the move, they came the following weekend. That amazed me. I had assumed a small load would be at the bottom of the attention scale. Regardless of the date chosen, this was an extra hint at customer focused service.

New York Cheap Movers were great. Billy was so responsive and flexible in our planning and also very personable. The leader of our team, Mike, was extremely eager to please us and seemed patient beyond expectations. All the men worked very hard and all of our belongings came through in great condition.
