Dr. Amron is a leading authority on Lipedema treatment and has focused his research, clinical practice, and passion on Lipedema therapy. He is a board-certified dermatologic surgeon specializing in Lipedema liposuction and body contouring. Having performed over 12,000 liposculpture surgeries, including over 5000 for Lipedema, he is the founding pioneer of Lipedema surgery in the United States. He is a fellow of multiple medical and surgical societies, including: The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, The American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, and the American Society of Liposuction Surgery. Dr. David Amron has published numerous articles in medical journals, authored dermatologic surgery and medical textbook chapters, and is the author of the book “Liposculpture and Lipedema Surgery: A Guide for the Patient and Pearls for the Surgeon.”

Dr. David Amron is the founder and medical director of the Roxbury Institute with locations in Beverly Hills, CA and Salt Lake City, UT. The Roxbury Institute is home to the Advanced Lipedema Treatment Program (ALT) which comprehensively treats Lipedema. Dr. Amron is a well-known national and international speaker and surgical advisor on the subject of Lipedema and liposculpture. He trains other select surgeons from around the globe on his unique surgical techniques and his work has been featured extensively in the media including national and international television, radio, and print. Dr. Amron is the creator and host of Lippy Logic™, the first comprehensive educational YouTube series about Lipedema, and he is an outspoken advocate for Lipedema awareness, education and insurance reform for Lipedema patients. In 2015 he founded the Lipedema Society™ to increase awareness and knowledge for Lipedema.
