If you give poor information and then think that the preparer is going to lie to cover you.. that would be a violation of 'DUE DILIGENCE'.. The OLD days of going to a preparer and 'wink' 'wink'.. they will fix it ... have been gone for years !! If you have a family of 5 and try telling us that you lived on $12,000 and you WERE NOT on welfare.. we will tell you to go elsewhere (in fact, by the tax software and do it yourself). If you get audited because YOU misrepresented your income and got caught.. go figure.. the IRS got ya !! AND since you didn't get representation to get you out of the trouble you got yourself into.. just means that you were either understating your income OR overstating your expenses and couldn't prove it to the IRS. Every so often justice is served and the cheaters get caught..

Anyone who uses TurboTax OR any over-the-counter tax software gets what they pay. Even H&R Block will admit the tax software can't beat an educated tax professional. Meanwhile, we have seen people mess up so bad on a simple 1040EZ.. that it took 3 months to straighten it out... SO PLEASE use that tax software.The software is fine (usually.. but you have to remember to the software is ONLY a good a the person entering the information)...

If I could lower the star to 0 I would. Don't have your taxes done there. Patricia Masters owner is NO GOOD!! She is a cheat and doesn't know anything regarding taxes or controlling money matters. Very Very poor!!!!!Too Many TAX AUDITS. If you want to be audited then have it done by her!!!!!
