About Sinodino'S Steakhouse
Dino’s by Day, Sinodinos by Night
Sinodinos is owned and operated by Bill Sinodinos, who also owns Dino’s Restaurant, a landmark diner just a couple miles up the road from Sinodinos at the corner of Thornton and Fremont Blvd. Dino’s has a long-standing tradition of excellent breakfast and lunch fare, large portions, reasonable prices, and a comfortable local community atmosphere. Sinodinos, by contrast, is its perfect evening counterpart:
A Brief History
Dino’s started as a hamburger shack back in the mid 1950s. In 1976 Dino Markou, patriarch of a family who moved to the Fremont area from Greece, purchased the restaurant, changed the name, expanded the menu and offered sit-down service. Bill, Dino’s son in law, later took over the restaurant and has been improving the ambience and attracting a larger and more devoted following ever since.
Enter Sinodinos
In 2010, Bill and his business partner, Max Goodwin, recognized an opportunity to extend their unique brand of comfortable community dining. They purchased what was then Beck’s Steak House in Newark and are now bringing a great new evening dining and entertainment experience to the greater Tri-City area. Bill runs the restaurant, Max runs the bar, and Bill is building a great team around him to support banquets, other special events, and a quality evening experience for all their guests.
Sinodinos Philosophy
At Sinodinos, Bill and his team are taking the same approach to continuous improvement that has made Dino’s such an enduring Fremont area restaurant landmark. Regulars at Dino’s and Sinodinos are considered extended family. Expect to be recognized and treaded just that way after just a visit or two!
Giving Back
The Sinodinos family is deeply rooted in the community, and gladly help local civic groups, sponsor little league teams, and supply hundreds of dinners each year to the Feed the Hungry Program.
