For Dr. Saidi success has always been measured in time given back to the community in which she lives as well as state and national organizations . Following her graduation from UOP School of Dentistry in 1991. She began volunteer teaching as an associate professor at the dental school. This 2 year position was followed by a 6 month tenure in Turku , Finland at the University of Turku Dental School. Since she has a B.A. in Biochemistry she was able to obtain a research grant studying the migration of oral cancer cells in the mouth. This work was published in the International Journal for Oral Medicine and Pathology.
Since that time Dr Saidi has established a Cosmetic and Family Dentistry practice in San Ramon, Ca. She has been an active volunteer since 1991 in all areas of organized dentistry including the American ,California and Contra Costa Dental Associations, Smile America, Su Salud and Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans during the aftermath of Hurricaine Katrina .
Dr Saidi is the current President of University of the Pacific, Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry Alumni Association . She has served on our Board of Directors for the past 10 years.
She is also the mother of 3 daughters, Sara, Sofia and Sabrina.
