Lesley McRae Design

Upon completion of her undergraduate studies in architecture at Princeton University, Lesley continued her formal education studying in NY and Paris at The Parson’s School of Design.

Before launching her own design business, Lesley apprenticed under renowned architect Michael Graves, collaborating on projects such as Disney’s Swan Hotel and Diane Von Furstenburg’s NYC Boutique. Further collaboration on custom furnishings with a celebrated decorator, Jed Johnson for Twin Farms Resort, helped to refine her knowledge of detail and luxury craftsmanship.

Life relocated Lesley to the deep south where she and her husband raised their three children and she began designing for her clientele. She has helped create beautiful spaces for clients across the Southeast, California, New York, New Jersey, and Michigan.

Lesley’s work has been featured in Southern Accents, California Home and Design, Gentry, Birmingham Home & Garden Magazine, and Cottage Journal.
