Fifth Street Counseling Center

We have served Broward County clients involved in the criminal justice and child welfare system since 1991. We have three locations in Broward County; Pompano Beach, Plantation/Fort Lauderdale and Miramar and we provide any and all behavioral health-related services that a client involved in the criminal justice system would require, including; drug/alcohol, parenting, anger management, batterers intervention, sexual offenders, anti-theft, psychosocial evaluations, individual and family counseling, etc.
We are Joint Commission accredited and a Medicaid Community Mental Health Center. We accept all Medicaid insurance and we are in-network providers to all major commercial insurance plans.
Along with a full scope of mental health services, we offer Intensive Outpatient Treatment and MAT services including Vivitrol,
We work closely with the Florida Department of Corrections Felony Probation. In addition, we provide many court-ordered programs to the Broward County Sheriff’s Department Misdemeanor Probation and Pretrial Services, as well as agencies from around the country that have clients in Broward County that have to meet court-ordered special conditions.
Drug and alcohol testing is a large part of our practice; we are a contracted provider to ChildNet/Florida Department of Children and Families, Broward-Dade Safety Council and Metro Traffic School as well as a large number of local employers.
We provide all reporting via email or updating your database, whichever you prefer. All of our clinical staff are licensed and/or certified professionals and supervised by a licensed clinical supervisor. The Florida Department of Children and Families is the licensing agency for Fifth Street Counseling Center.
