French Saturday School

The French Saturday School offers a complete and rigorous education for children from 3-16 years old. Classes are from 9 AM to 12 PM (6 years old and up) and from 10 AM to 12 PM (3-5 years old), 34 weeks per year.

We work on the different notions stated in the Ministère de l'éducation nationale's programs for schools: the classes have the objective of facilitating the student's eventual return in the French educational system. In a concern for authenticity, we, therefore, conserve all the educational and cultural differences for good preparation to French schools. Additionally, parents and children will find a group of friends united by the bond of "francophonie". We want to make Saturday mornings a collective weekly pleasure. First-language classes range from petite section to quatrième.

We also have a second language program where immersion is key. The French Saturday School works on building bilingualism, through language and culture. Even if the two programs are separated we create interaction between children whose heritage language is French, with children who are emerging bilinguals in French. We believe they must have the same feeling to be a part of the French community. We develop a great program that allows the child to learn at their own pace as well.
