About Cynshine Yoga, Pilates & More

Cynshine Yoga Pilates & More is a brand new upscale studio located in Gilbert Town Square. We offer only the best of the best and are proud to be a Merrithew Stott Pilates Center and Manduka Yoga Studio & Retailer! Cyndi George (Cynshine as she is known to family and friends), the Owner is originally from Indiana. She relocated to Gilbert with national and international teaching experience from preschool through University levels. As a former gymnast, dancer, cheerleader & coach, she wanted to build a studio where everyone could feel comfortable and encouraged, to learn how to move with ease no matter their experience, age or expertise. Cyndi takes time to listen to and watch how her clients dynamically move and then works with her clients in private sessions. Her clients have experienced incredible successes and keep coming back. You will find that Cyndi has a unique way of blending Pilates, Yoga, AIS, NKT even Reiki disciplines in her practice, which help her clients reach their goals. The greatest compliment is when her students call or text her saying that they are no longer in pain. At Cynshine we want to teach our clients how and why their bodies move and compensate and then try to reprogram to remove any dysfunctional patterns. Our goal is to not only teach but also to inspire, and provide a place where our community can thrive, support each other & give back to the greater good. Pilates Sessions Joseph Pilates developed his method of physical and mental exercise by controlling movement throughout a range of motion. Pilates incorporates breathing and correct postural alignment to help balance, coordination & strengthen the powerhouse muscles of the body. YOGA Classes A variety of yoga styles await you: Vinyasa flow, Restorative, YIN, and Active Isolated Yoga for flexibility. Whether you are a beginner or advanced yogi, our teachers will do their best to accommodate any postural issues that come up. At Cynshine, we feel your Yoga practice shouldn’t be painful but feel encouraging regardless of your level. The Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) Aaron Mattes protocol is a method of facilitated gentle stretching of the major muscle groups, combining functional and physiological restoration of superficial and deep fascial planes resulting in increased flexibility and range of motion. NeuroKinetic Therapy® Any recurring complaints? Do you feel like you’re chasing pain? David Weinstock’s NKT® protocol is a corrective movement system that finds the cause of pain – and then works to restore function to dysfunctional movement patterns stored in the brain. Reiki – A Japanese word (Rei) “Universal Life” and (Ki) “Energy”. Reiki is not a religion, it is not massage, it is a subtle and effective form of energy work. Reiki or life energy flows through all living things. A person’s “Ki” or energy should be strong and free flowing. If the energy becomes, weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance. A Reiki session can help ease tension and stress and can help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional.
