The Mackle brothers were builders of homes in Florida, following their father in the business. The Mackle Family has founded the Mackle Company, Mackle Construction, the General Development Corporation and the Deltona Corporation. Mackle Homes is the current installment of a legacy of Florida Homebuilding. Mackles and Mackle controlled companies founded the cities of Key Biscayne, Marco Island, Port St Lucie, Port Charlotte, Citrus Springs, Marion Oaks, Port St. John, The City of Deltona, Sunny Hills, Spring Hill, Palm Bay, and Westwood Lakes. The President of Mackle Homes is James Mackle.

Our history in construction is long and storied. Frank E. Mackle, Sr., my great-grandfather, founded Mackle Construction in 1908. Mackle Construction was known to be builders of the highest standards, working its way from single family residences all the way to the Key West Naval Base. The next generation of Mackle Family members, the Mackle Brothers, however, took their building empire to new heights – although never compromising on quality.
