After Dr. Bowen earned his medical degree from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University, he completed his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Legacy Portland Hospitals and Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Bowen is Board Certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Bowen offers conservative and surgical options including but not limited to the following: arch pain, ankle arthritis, ankle arthroscopy, ankle instability, ankle trauma/fractures, ankle sprains, achilles tendon pain or rupture, blisters, bone spurs, bunions, calluses, corns, cavus (high arch) foot, foot arthritis, foot trauma/fractures, forefoot and digital pain or deformity, ganglion cysts, geriatric foot care, hammertoe, heel pain, ligament or tendon pain/injury, nail fungus, neuroma pain, pes planus (flat foot), plantar fasciitis, skin and nail disorders, soft tissue masses of the foot and ankle, warts.
