East coast auto body review DO NOT USE THIS PLACE...THEY WILL SCAM YOU AND HOLD YOUR CAR HOSTAGE!!! The worst part about it, is they probably give kick-backs to the police to use them. Had to get car towed, and tow truck came to help, and was charged close to $1000 for the tow. The tow truck operator told us to give them a call the next morning as they just have to check to make sure that the car was drivable. Called the next morning and was told that they were not open from Friday to the following Monday. Of course, they over-charged us for both the towing and storage fees. When we finally contacted someone they told us that they were too busy to look at the car. Again, charging us for another day of storage. The following day, we called again and given the same excuses that they were too busy to handle the car. When asked for the owner, he conveniently is never there. Finally, when called later that they, we were told that they looked at the car and it was not drivable, but to give us a breakdown of what was wrong, we would have to pay over $200 just to have it looked at for a quote. When we asked for an itemized list of the charges, we were told that they would get back to us, but conveniently never did, and charged us for another day of storage. Finally, had the car towed to another mechanic, who informed us that the car was perfectly fine to drive. Confirming our thoughts that this car was never looked at and we were going to be overcharged for whatever they wanted for the car. The car was also in worse shape after leaving this place, as parts of the car that were not damaged in the original accident were damaged after leaving East Coast Auto Body. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS, THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND DO NOT HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST!
