Throughout my many years in education, I have selected the most effective materials, strategies, and techniques to use with my students. I have developed many extensions and modifications to existing programs, such as Lindamood-Bell, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, and Barton Reading. In this way, extensive time and routine are eliminated.

My commitment is to give your child very specific instruction in appropriate components that serve his or her needs. These components will address the reading weaknesses assessed and monitored.

The specific components and skill areas that I implement in my tutoring program are listed below. I usually implement 4-5 of them after I do an initial assessment determining your child’s weaknesses and strengths. As progress is monitored, I then level up and add on successive component skill areas, thus continuing to “close the gap” while “accelerating ahead.”
