Zar, Which translate to "Gold" in Farsi is an indication of the standards we keep in our Family Restaurant located in Saint James, New York. We 'The Farhoudis' have been in restaurant business for the past 25 years. The artistic nature of the family expands well beyond the last few decades. Hugh (Architect), The baby of the family who has moved from London to here is the concept designer of the Zar, Put together with the creative talent of Kouros (designer and chef from London), Delicious recipes of Pari (our mum) and and astute business sense of Jay (the older brother), Provided that rare opportunity to bring all arts together and be as creative as possible. Our (version) mix menu of Greek food, Pastas from southern Italy and dishes of Persian origin has been put together carefully to cater for all tastes. We proudly offer thousands of years of food culture from these regions in every dish presented to you.
