The "Original" Boulder Creek Steakhouse had a simple recipe for success - serve great food at great prices in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. The idea was born at a neighborhood barbecue where three friends decided to go into business together and make their dream a reality. The three budding entrepreneurs shared strong family values, diverse culinary and hospitality backgrounds, and a desire to create a refreshing new dining experience on Long Island. The rest is history. The first Boulder Creek Steakhouse opened its doors in Syosset, NY in 1995. Inspired by a genuine piece of Americana, the three partners chose a Rocky Mountain Lodge theme that was cozy and fun for the whole family. Soon, the Boulder Creek chain - with its signature decor and exceptional food, service and value - grew to 10 restaurants stretching from Long Island to New Jersey. Today, six Boulder Creek Steakhouses remain, but only the Hicksville and Brooklyn locations are still corporate owned and committed to the true spirit of the "Original" Boulder Creek concept. The owners plan to expand their brand to new markets in the future, while continuing to support the communities they serve.
