About Bakers Oven Bistro
Bistro 24 opened in Shelburne Falls in March 2012 as The Bakers
Oven Bistro. Located in a storefront eatery at 24 Bridge Street, formerly
occupied by Café Martin, we carry on the tradition of providing wholesome
and thoughtfully prepared meals in a cozy small-town setting. With our
combined experience in baking, catering, culinary arts, and hospitality,
we take pride in our restaurant’s unique charm: a warm and inviting
atmosphere where there’s something for everyone.
We first launched our business back in 2011 with The Bakers Oven, a
traveling wood-fired oven. Since then, we have brought farm-to-table thin
crust gourmet pizza to many of the valley’s festivals and fairs, as well as to
private catered events, for which we continue to make ourselves available.
Today, we bring the same energy and enthusiasm to our restaurant, and
have expanded our menu to include a range of lunch and dinner items.
When dining at Bistro 24, patrons can select from sandwiches with local
ingredients on fresh baked bread, a diverse array of appetizers, hearty
and refined dinner entrees, artisan cheeses, daily soups and chowders,
refreshing salads, house-made desserts, and, of course, our renowned
pizza. Our beverage offerings include Pierce Brothers Coffee, local
organic teas, Foxon Park natural sodas, and a full bar featuring Berkshire
Brewing Company beers on tap, as well as a selection of quality yet
affordable wines. For those not dining in, we are glad to offer our menu
for carry-out, and we also provide an assortment of baked goods including
homemade breads, muffins, scones, pastries, and pies made to order.
Whatever suits your appetite, we are committed to serving delicious
and fresh food at a reasonable price. In the spirit of our farm-to-table
philosophy, we do our best to provide our guests with products from
local and ethically-minded sources, such as Lyonsville Valley Farm in
Colrain, Foxbard and Wheel-View Farms in Shelburne, and Sangha Farm
in Plainfield, home to Goat Rising cheeses. When the harvest season
allows, guests can also enjoy meals prepared with local produce fresh
from the Shelburne Falls’ Friday Farmer’s Market, as well as from a variety
of nearby farms.
We hope you will stop in and see us sometime, and we look forward to
serving you!
Happy eating,
Daniel & Michele Mojallali
