I am actually pretty pleased with how The Pump House operates. I'll let you know my five star rating, equivalent to an A in school is a 97% or so, excellent but not quite 100% . The owner is knowledgeable about fuel pumps, courteous and professional and actually gives great verbal help and advice to a consumer who needs to replace the fuel pump. I am usually a do it yourself type of consumer and extremely price conscious. The Pump House was able to get me the fuel pump assembly my Chevy Malibu required, answered questions about price and quality and even recommended a mechanic who does this installation., who was within my price range. The recommended person completed work in less than one day that would have taken me a week to a month to complete. The Pump House also supplies pumps, probably more often to auto parts dealers and to auto repair shops. You will not find much better. Now I will tell you why this operation fully deserves 97% A excellent but just a little under 100%. The Pump House has you order the pump then promises to deliver the pump in 60 minutes, an excellent and ambitious promise. However, I ordered mine on a Tuesday and it turned out he did not have it, thus it was to be available on Thursday. Thursday passed, no pump. Truck needed unloaded, promised on Friday. All of Friday passed, no word, no pump. I wrote up a note expressing serious concern and was ready to request a refund. He responded, noting that my pump was shipped wrong, got it on Saturday and hustled his rear end out to me with the pump and issued me a credit on the price for the late delivery. That is an A grade attitude, reminds me of some of my students who aced class when I was teaching by coming into the final with a D- or F average and showing they had learned to full competence. He knows fuel pumps, is concerned about proper customer service, only a tad below 100% because like many people, he may overpromise then have issues that keep him from delivering. I will note that the same day {or within an hour or two} delivery only applies if you are near Central Ohio or Chicagoland and the most accurate info on how to order a pump including the phone number is at this link https://www.fuelpumphouse.com/ The including picture of the fuel pump I received. It is now installed and working. I could have received on quicker and cheaper from an Amazon dealer but it would have been likely to be poorly manufactured or close to the same from one of the big online car parts house but would have taken longer than this, complete with the delays. The major auto parts retailers would have been 1 1/2 to 3 times as expensive with likely no improvement in quality.
