My fiancé and I decided to try ordering online since we had heard good things from a couple different friends. We ended up looking at cushion cut diamonds because I wanted something classic but a little out of the ordinary. While many typical stores don't even carry cushion cut stones. But they had a wide-ranging selections. Since neither of us makes a lot of money (thanks grad school!), I was worried that we'd only be able to afford a diamond that you'd need a microscope to see. Much to my surprise, we were able to find something of considerable size and incredible quality (so sparkly!) that fit our relatively modest budget. Furthermore, their customer service rep that I spoke with was able to answer my questions about shipping times and was friendly to boot! While my mom still thinks it's a little strange that we bought a ring online, now that I've had the pleasure of ordering it online from the right person, I would never do it any other way.
