Complex landlord-tenant law, commercial landlord-tenant litigation and preparation of commercial leases make up a large portion of the firm’s practice.

Litigation is an area of particular strength for our firm. We specialize in all landlord/tenant matters including the commencement of nonpayment and holdover proceedings, and litigation involving the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development of the City New York (DHPD). The resources of our firm will enable us to handle all aspects of litigation from initiation to appeal.

Moreover, our firm also specializes in all aspects of litigation including DHPD involving tenant-initiated actions, building wide actions brought by DHPD for an order to correct, enforcement of civil penalties, contempt and the appointment of a 7A Administrator. We provide representation for our clients at the appellate level. A new area of litigation has been commencing Article 78 proceedings against Section 8 in the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
