Welcome to Kotas Veterinary Services! KVS was formed by Dr. Paul Kotas initially to provide relief services for Eastern Massachusetts veterinary hospitals and clinics, and limited house call services. After several months of operation Dr. Kotas came to realize the great potential benefits of veterinary house calls: Convenience. Dr. Kotas will work with your schedule, and come to your home (no more waiting rooms with barking dogs). Great for busy families and for those individuals that cannot get to a full-service veterinary facility due to transportation limitations. Comfortable, stressless environment for patients. Many pets do fine in a traditional animal hospital setting, but for others the stress of travel (and for cats - being put into a carrier), and being surrounded by the smells of other animals - a house call may be preferable. Services are provided in your home where everyone feels most comfortable. Contagion-Free. Since your pet will receive veterinary care in their own home, they will not be exposed to other pets and contagions such as kennel cough (bordetella) or upper respiratory infections.
