Vet Med Mobile inc. in La Plata, MD is a small animal house call mobile service that comes to your home. We serve the Southern Maryland area and some surronding areas. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services will assist in routine preventive care for your pet as well as early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and medical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. Your pet will feel relaxed and comfortable during the home visit and you will avoid the waiting, driving and general anxiety your pet may associate with visiting an animal hospital. If you have multiple pets or a geriatric pet then the house call service we provide will especially benefit you and your pet in many ways. We offer a variety of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best: Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: We are able to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pet's needs: Comprehensive well pet and sick pet examination including complete geriatric exams Compassionate euthanasia Ear cleaning and nail trims diagnostic blood profiles and heartworm tests Administration of injections and fluids Blood pressure monitoring Prescriptions provided Multiple pet discounts available Vaccinations Well and sick animal examinations. We provide diagnostic blood testing and blood pressure testing. Hospice care. Individualized Flea Control Programs: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet. Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.
