"The last heat wave we were screwed with an air conditioning system that didn’t work. Yup, my fault, thing had been broken all season and now that it’s hot, it suddenly became a priority. Go figure.

I called a few companies that couldn’t make it out there. Enter Airmakers. I talked to a guy who seemed pretty busu as well, but he made a point to try and accommodate me, regardless. We set up an appointment that evening so he could inspect my property and give me an estimate. The price was a little higher than I expected, but after conferring with some friends at work, they told me that I got a good price so I was happy.

His crew came out two days later and did the installation. Took them most of the day as I have a pretty big SFR, but by the end of the day, the owner came out to inspect everything once again and make sure it was all working right. These guys work long hours and this guy must work the longest. I love giving good reviews for guys who bust their butt. Big recommend to Airmakers. Use these guys for sure.

"As summer approaches, we wanted to make sure our air conditioning system is in proper working order, before it gets too hot. Too many times, consumers wait until the temperatures rise before they call an air conditioning expert. This can put us on a waiting list while our family bakes in the summer heat. That’s not what we wanted so we called around and found Airmakers Heating and Air Conditioning.

In order to keep our heating and cooling equipment in peak performance and keep our energy costs down, we also wanted to have a licensed contractor do annual pre-season check-ups. The best time to have this tune-up performed is in the spring for cooling systems and the fall for heating units. We plan the check-ups at the same time the time changes as a way to remember.

Airmakers cleaned the evaporator and condenser air conditioning coils. The guy working on it said that dirty coils reduce the system's ability to cool your home and may cause the system to run longer. This will increase energy costs and may reduce the life of the equipment. Airmakers also checked your central air conditioner's refrigerant level and adjusted it as it was a bit too high. Too much or too little refrigerant will make a system less efficient, increasing energy costs and reducing the life of the equipment. The technician checked to make sure our blower components were clean and adjusted them to provide proper system airflow for greater comfort levels. He said airflow problems can reduce your system's efficiency by up to 15 percent.
