"Paul's Washer and Dryer Repair Service took excellent care of LG washer. The machine was leaking while not in use, we were concerned about this obviously. We spoke with David, the owner, who explained that the most common cause of the problem is the water valves. We hired him to take of it, he was great and doing what he does. The cold water valve was the issue, both valves were changed, it was simply a pleasure doing business with a professional service repair company."

I am peace with our choice of repair companies, not so easy locate a business such as this. It is simply evolution of the business market, to take a basic, novel, repair service and bring it to this level. They took care of us as if we were staying at a 5 star resort. this all may sound hyperbole but I assure that it is nothing like that, an outstanding company has been discovered and should be shared among the working public to support. Checked out non-functioning and leaking all-in-one LG washer/dryer. Found faulty water pump and cracked hose. Replaced water pump but didn't have hose, so returned 2 days later to install new hose.
Member Comments: Read reviews on Angie's list and was concerned about being able to get a response. I called at opening time on Monday morning and the phone was answered almost immediately by the owner. He knew what the problem was based on my description and the type of machine, and set an appointment for Oscar to come out next day (Tuesday) at 2:30 pm.
Next day, Oscar called to ask if he could come over at 1:45 instead, which worked great for me. He arrived on time with a co-worker, checked out the machine and found that the water pump wasn't working and a hose was broken. Oscar replaced the pump but didn't have the hose and mentioned that it was on order with the manufacturer. He tried to install a universal hose instead but it didn't fit properly, so he said he would schedule a return visit as soon as it was in. I let him know that I needed the machine by Thursday because I was heading out of town Thursday afternoon, and Oscar said he would do his best. He also didn't ask for payment even though I mentioned it, saying he would get it on his return visit.
I got a text late Wednesday evening (next day) saying the hose was in and can they come over to install it at 9:30 am Thursday. I texted back to set the appointment and they confirmed. Oscar arrived on time Thursday and spent about 45 minutes installing the hose and testing the machine. The bill came in about what I expected and the machine works great.

Santa Monica for Washer Repair call Paul's Service. Our LG washer was leaking a small amount of water. We had a few other companies take a look at it, the leak they stated was from our plumbing, the leak continued to increase as well as our frustration with the finding a reliable appliance repair service company. As a resident of Culver City My husband and I hired Paul's Service, yesterday, for the repair of our Whirlpool Dryer. Friday working perfectly, Saturday no heat, we called an spoke with David and he spent time with me diagnosing the machine.
David was polite and gave us an estimate.
How many companies did I call prior to getting a straight answer before I called Paul's Service too many.

I was impressed. I call the number and talked to David, the owner. By my description he told me exactly what the problem was. I said i needed it done now, and said he could only get here later in the day, and gave me advise when talking to others. After talking too a few phone center type people who knew nothing about washing machines, i called him back and he came out later in the day. Was $170 for a simple part and install, but i felt worth the honesty and good feelings. And I had an operable washing machine by 5pm.

I called Paul's for washing machine repair, and spoke to David who was very helpful in helping me diagnose the problem over the phone. By asking me several pertinent questions, he was able to diagnose my problem (plumbing) and tell me that I'd need a plumber. He offered valuable advice, and I wish the problem HAD been the washing machine because I would trust Paul's to fix it. I really appreciated David's helpfulness even when he stood to make no money for counseling me over the phone.

I have used Paul’s Washer and Dryer Repair several times. They have always been very knowledgeable and have offered excellent service with reasonable prices EVERY time. You can't get better than that!
