Discipline & Respect – Lessons for Life Three in our family are actively attending class twice a week at The Edge. Our twins began karate at age 4+ and dad has been attending for one year. Master Thorn and his skilled staff are highly focused on developing the mental and physical skills of each class member. It is a pleasure to see our children mature and grow with training and age. The mental and physical focus that develops with martial arts also improves my focus professionally. We enjoy and are honored to be a member of The Edge Family.

Karate is a fun way to get in shape, learn important skills, and acquire new and exciting accomplishments. I started Karate with several other karate moms after we caught the excitement and enthusiasm watching our children at The Edge. We were so impressed with how Master Thorn and his team encourage and support people of all ages, shapes and sizes that we decided to give karate a try. Both of my sons and I are now black belts and we continue our training with all of the excitement and passion as the day we started. In the beginning I was hoping my children would discover enjoyment in exercise, discipline, confidence, self defense skills and the many, many benefits of karate and am pleasantly surprised that I have benefited from these attributes just as much. You will not find a better karate studio, superior direction, or a nicer community of people than The Edge Martial Arts and Fitness.
