I have never taken the time to submit a review of any company. The service we have received from Twin City Moving is has been so deplorable I am prompted to do so for the first time. We ordered a bathroom vanity online. It's heavy and comes in one piece. Therefore, we elected to pay extra for the "white glove" delivery. The delivery men are to bring it in from the truck and move it down our basement stairs to the location it will be installed. We live in ND and the vanity came from California. I tracked it's delivery as we are anxious to take delivery of it because it's the last item we need to install to finish our total basement renovation. Until we have the vanity in place we are forced to wait to install our shower doors (as the doors would be in the way of moving the vanity into the room). We ordered the vanity the first week of March. It traveled quickly from California to Twin City Moving in Minnesota where it sat for two weeks. I did not receive a call from Twin City Moving to schedule the delivery so I called them. They informed me I live in an area that they don't regularly deliver to so we would have to wait another week for delivery. Finally, the next week, they said they would deliver it on a Thursday. My husband planned his day around the delivery and ensured he was home to meet them. When they arrived, there were two delivery men. They had traveled 8 hours to bring it from Eagen, MN to ND and they then got out of the truck and informed my husband that they could not move the vanity to our basement let alone out of the truck! They said it was too heavy and they could not do it safely. Are you serious? This company had the vanity for two weeks and when they do finally deliver it they are not prepared to get it out of the truck??? I understand that sometimes things don't go as planned, but that seems like a ludicrous oversight to me... they then left with our vanity and I haven't heard from them since. We still are waiting and it's been a month since we ordered it.

Hard to believe the review ratings as 1 out of 5, but my experience today was excellent. I was contacted a few days prior to arrange the date and time. On the day of delivery the movers contacted me before arrival to my home. The movers were professional and kind. I highly recommend.

I am not proud of this company either. i was suppose to have my furniture delivered to my place between 2-6p.m. but the driver called me at 10 mins to 1p.m. and said he is on his way to deliever. Well that is out of the time scope- it's a weekday and i am at work-so then he said he can wait a hour-otherwise i will have to reschedule. So i called to try to reschedule and they say it's going to be a week before they can re-schedule me. That is not right, i had to pay for there mess up because the driver came early and so i have to wait a week!!! I order this furniture over a month ago and this is how the moving company treat there customers?? Uh no-so i am going to get someone to help me move my furniture and have the company reimburse me for deliever charges!!! Poor customer service!!!

Movers successfully delivered an item to my home. Unfortunately they damaged my yard significantly, then tried to cover it up by kicking snow over it. That was March 25, 2011...I'm still trying to obtain remuneration for the damages, and can't get a call-back from the manager. Thanks Twin Cities Moving!
