A vampire facial is simply a microneedling treatment with the addition of platelet -rich plasma (PRP). PRP treatments are often used to support wound healing in trauma and joining injury, but they can also enhance hair restoration and other aesthetic procedures. PRP contains various growth factors that speed up the healing process and enhance the results of micro-needling. PRP is a 3-step procedure that involves drawing blood, placing it into a machine that separates the platelets from the rest of your blood, and re-injecting or applying topically the blood that contains a high concentration of platelets into the patient’s face or scalp. When we opt for injections, we’re usually targeting areas, such as deep folds or acne scars, where the patient is looking for correction or improvement. When we apply the PRP topically, we usually spread it over the entire face. The procedure usually takes 45 minutes to an hour.
The generic form of ozempic or wegovy called semaglutide is used for weight loss. Semaglutide injection is in a class of medications called incretin mimetics. It works by helping the pancreas to release the right amount of insulin when blood sugar levels are high. Insulin helps move sugar from the blood into other body tissues where it is used for energy. Semaglutide injection also works by slowing the movement of food through the stomach and may decrease appetite and cause weight loss.
Shaving before your IPL hair removal treatment helps the light beam to focus in on the hair root. When using IPL, you'll need to shave less and less as your treatments go on. Avoid plucking or waxing before an IPL session
Treatments are spaced 4-6 weeks apart due to the hair growth cycle. To gain the maximum benefit of IPL Hair Removal, clinical studies have shown that typically 4-6 treatments are needed and at intervals 4-6 weeks apart. Results will vary depending on hair color, skin type and the condition of your hair. In some cases, less sessions are needed, in other cases, more sessions may be needed. Our medical professional can consult you about this.
Around two weeks after your IPL treatment your hair will shed and fall out. At this time you will be able to gently remove it with a washcloth in the bath or shower. When your hair is shedding, let it fall out naturally. Please do not pluck or wax the treatment area!
Generally, you can expect to start seeing Dysport results two to four days after your injections are administered. However, you shouldn't expect to see your final results within just a few days of your injection session. For that, you may need to wait 10 to 14 days. The results of Botox generally take around a week to appear, but both injectables reveal their peak results at around 2 weeks.
There seems to be no real difference between Botox and Dysport. Both contain the same active ingredient (Botulinum Type A) and can reduce the appearance of wrinkles. The biggest difference is the level of concentration in each product. Dysport is more diluted than Botox, with an almost 3 to 1 split. Based on the location of the injectable, your doctor may need more product to fill one area than another. Of course, it’s easy to believe then that Dysport will be much more expensive than Botox, but this is not the case. The price per unit is significantly cheaper than Botox. Since the number of units will be higher than Botox, the price per treatment comes up to about the same. Dysport also differs in terms of its molecular behavior and diffusion. This makeup means it spreads faster, especially over a larger surface area, with just a few injections. So the differences really come down to the way each injectable is applied by your doctor. Because of the difference in dilution, you can safely use both for a similar price.
