Do you provide a termite inspection?

Yes, all home inspection reports include a wood destroying organism (termite) report. Each wood destroying organism report will be sent to every client at the same time that the full inspection report is sent, and is performed for no extra costs!

Do you provide thermal imaging?

Yes, we do provide thermal imaging as an additional service. Thermal imaging can help provide additional information, especially in circumstances where water leaks, or heating & cooling leaks are of concern.

Do you test water quality?

Yes, as an additional service, we do test for various bacteria, chemicals, and/or heavy metals in the property's water supply. We collect samples on the day of the home inspection and deliver each sample to a qualified laboratory for results. The length of time for results to be returned can vary depending on what contaminate we are testing for. Results for certain contaminates (like E-Coli & Coliform) can be returned anywhere from 3-5 business days, while results for other contaminates (such as lead) can take up to 3 weeks to be returned. This time frame is strictly dependent on the laboratory testing process. Our lead inspector, Tom, can go over this process with you in more detail, including a course of action based on positive test results.

Do you test for Radon?

Yes, we do test for Radon as an additional service. We set up the radon tests on the day of the home inspection, and come back to the property after 48-72 hours to pick up the test(s) and send them out to a qualified laboratory for results. Radon test results are typically returned from qualified laboratories within 7-10 business days.

How far do you travel?

We are proudly serving the Mid-Hudson valley area. This includes Orange, Ulster, Dutchess, Rockland, and Putnam counties!

What is the cost of a home inspection?

We base the price of each inspection on the size and age of the home or commercial property. By taking a look at the property listing, we can provide a free quote to you, and ensure that we are providing our best price for every inspection!
