Guitar Lessons with James Paschall

James has been teaching music professionally now for 11+ years.

James is one of few guitar instructors offering lessons at YOUR home, thereby saving you the time, hassle, and gasoline to travel to a music store.


James Paschall is a graduate of UC Davis and a former guitar student of Steve Trovato (MIT,USC). James started playing the recorder at age 5, took piano lessons for a year at age 9, then guitar and drums became his favorite instruments from then on out.

James studied music at Pasadena City College, along with general education, including many science and math classes.


James loves teaching, and loves teaching the guitar especially.

He'll teach you the basics regarding the approach to practicing, learning songs, music theory, and even how to restring and take care of your guitar.

His favorite teachers are Dr. Fisher, who also taught Eddie and Alex Van Halen music theory, and Steve Trovato,
widely popular in the music industry.

James has the goal of (like the two former teachers mentioned above)...being the teacher that is remembered.
