ISD is an ethical locksmith

7/20/2011 7:54:00 PM by I.S.D. Locksmith

ISD is an ethical locksmith, unlike all of the locksmiths that you find via Google through the Google ads. Don't even fall for the $15 to have your place unlocked deal that is listed on Google! Every single one of those companies will scam you with a bait and switch. They quote you a significantly lower price over the phone and then dispatch a contracted technician to come out and give you a ridiculously higher quote. Isaac at ISD told me how the scammers will dispatch the contracted individual whom will try to get as much money out of you as possible. They typically keep 30% of the proceeds. I experienced this bait and switch scam firsthand by Enterprise Locksmith. They quoted me $15 over the phone and then charged me $90 to open the lock, and I was in a REAL emergency situation where my girlfriend had just gotten released from the hospital after 3 operations. The thieving bastards got away with $90 and I'm extremely pissed off! Anywho, ISD only charged me $6 to have 2 keys copied. Great guy. I wouldn't hesitate to give the smaller guys like ISD my business in the case that I get locked out. Afterall, it's guys like ISD that lose when scammers like Enterprise Locksmith screw people over. 4 friends 4 reviews Peter K. San Diego, CA
