Job Description

Basic Function of the Job

Maintains high-availability corporate computing and network services supporting the global user base.
Proactively develops, implements, and administers the computing and network infrastructure.
Oversees service delivery and support to end-users of the Corporate Data Center and satellite facilities.
Promote common infrastructure and processes across COMPANY locations to ensure reliability and compatibility.
Provides global technology leadership and guidance to all COMPANY locations worldwide.
Job Requirements

Education

BS Degree in Information Science or related area. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience

10 years overall information technology experience
5-7 years of experience in infrastructure management
4 years in an project/personnel leadership role
Certified Network Engineer or MCSE preferred
Special Skills

Understand and apply the technologies, methods and techniques to deliver effective, high quality business information systems
Excellent customer service skills including listening skills, sense of urgency and enthusiasm
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with end-users and management
Demonstrated experience in Computing and Network infrastructure project planning and management in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and data and voice communications concepts
Able to identify and assess alternatives, make decisions and communicate the process and logic. Understands and balances business and technical issues in decision making
Demonstrated problem-solving and work prioritization skills
Must be collaborative, team-oriented and self-motivated
Able to recruit, develop, manage and motivate a team of technical professionals
Culturally sensitive – values diversity, able to understand and cooperate with other team members from different cultures
Financial Management – participates in budget development, approving and monitoring spending, contract management
Willing to travel, domestic and international
