HOUSTON--When a Houston, Texas, charity stages a major fundraising event this spring to benefit the Wounded Warriors Project, there are two things organizers won't have to worry about, thanks to the generosity of National Security Service (NSS).
For one thing, the need for reliable and highly trained event security guards--an essential part of holding any public gathering like the Wounded Warriors benefit--is being filled from the ranks of NSS's exceptional corps of highly trained, licensed, insured, and always reliable Event Security Guards.
And, for another thing, those security guards will be bringing their professionalism and competence to the event at absolutely no cost to the charity. The event, dubbed the Inspirations Charity Art Show, is being presented by the non-profit Art Benefits, Inc.,
with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Wounded Warriors Project. The art show and sale will feature the work of four accomplished artists who "create from the heart," an organizer said, with all of the artwork touching on the "Inspirations"
"Art Benefits, Inc. is proud to host an event benefiting an organization whose mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors," she added. "Wounded Warrior Project has a big, audacious goal: to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.
For NSS, the donation is the latest in a longstanding tradition of donating security services to selected non-profit fundraisers, a company spokesperson said. Security for non-profits, he said, is one part of the NSS portfolio.
A nationwide leader in the commercial security guard service industry, NSS covers all fifty states through a total of 437 field offices that provide security guard service to clients and projects ranging from non-profits to schools, commercial buildings, construction sites, retail security guards, disaster response, residential security services, and more.“You name it, we’ll secure it,” the NSS official said.
For non-profits, NSS security guards
are trained and experienced in securing such varied events as parties, conferences and meetings, and large-scale fundraising events including sporting and entertainment events. Events, whether the need is for Uniformed security guards service or event and crowd control security guards.
That expertise and professionalism will make life much easier for organizers of the Wounded Warriors Project benefit on March 26 in Houston, according to an official of the organization.
“Fundraisers are always complicated events, and there are always a lot of balls to keep in the air when we are putting one together,” she noted.“The NSS donation of event security guards takes a huge worry off of our shoulders, and frees us up to focus on the big picture.
We truly appreciate National Security Service's support of the Wounded Warrior Project,” she said.
The Inspirations Charity Art Show will take place at The Marque, 798 Sorella Court, Suite 225, in Houston. Tickets and additional information are available from Eventbrite.
