Event Description
Nuevo School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD) will host its second year-end showcase of student achievement with special performances by professional artists. Talented students ranging in age from 5 to 19 will perform individual and group pieces choreographed by Nuevo's founder and artistic director Francisco Gella and other faculty.
‘re:define’ is symbolic of NUEVO’s transformational philosophy with respect to dance education. Making an impact across Los Angeles in less than two years, Gella has initiated a student-centered program committed to developing complete dancers prepared to bridge the concert and commercial dance worlds through training that focuses on uncompromised attention to technique combined with inspired artistry and musciality.
Seating is general admission. Tickets are $15 for children and students. The price of admission for adults is $20. Tickets will be sold in advance at Nuevo School of Contemporary Dance, other select locations soon to be announced, and at the door.
