AWRC WOMEN’S OUTPATIENT TREATMENT
Arizona Women’s Recovery Center offers a Women’s Outpatient Program and recognizes that recovery for women requires forging a path to independence and empowerment. In addition to participating in addiction treatment, AZWRC’s rehabilitation goals focus on the development of life skills, resolution of life issues, trauma, parenting, and rebuilding a self-image of a woman in recovery.
Our outpatient treatment is to designed to last at least 6 months. Women will master skills vital to their recovery, strengthen their support system, increase their ability to financially provide for themselves and their children, practice sober parenting, find fun in recovery, and learn to believe in themselves.
Arizona Women’s Recovery Center focuses on breaking down barriers that make it difficult for women to access treatment and continue in their recovery. Each client is assigned a case manager who identifies the woman’s barriers and assists with resources to enable her to participate in the treatment process. Arizona Women’s Recovery Center assists with transportation, coordinates benefits, offers psychiatric evaluations and medications, vocational rehabilitation, and housing. The AWRC staff is highly involved in networking with other service providers within the community, which increases access to many additional resources that Arizona Women’s Recovery Center would otherwise be unable to directly provide.
The Women’s Outpatient Treatment consists of three levels, each designed to enhance the development of a strong recovery foundation.
