Physical Therapy Physical therapy is a medical practice which combines progressive exercise, hands-on treatment, mechanical modalities and education in independent long term self care, all supervised by a licensed physical therapist. Currently the requirements for licensure is a masters degree and completion of the state board examination. Therapists work closely as a team with your medical doctor or specialist to provide the best possible outcome for your condition. Each patient will receive one on one attention during treatment.
