Morningland is one of those eclectic Californian cults from the 1970s that take bits and pieces of knowledge from various sources and water them down especially for you. If you like the introductory spiritual courses and feel that you can listen to them on repeat for the rest of your life, then you might enjoy Morningland! If you feel comfortable knowing that to be in Morningland is to see its current leaders, the Gopis (women you will know nothing about, not even their names or history) as you spiritual ideal, counselors, guides in life, then you found the right place. If you continue to feel comfortable with the idea of unconditionally trusting these women you just met simply because they smiled to you and spoke lovely words, or because you had an unusual spiritual experience, even though they will never return your trust (and will betray it whenever it will suit them), then you might stand a chance with this place. If you are ok with the fact that in time and through their "technique" they will get so deeply under you skin ("think of us when you eat, pray, dream, etc") that you will only date those who will adore them too or be forever single, then you have found the right place. If this has not creeped you out yet and you feel that you can accept a life in which you will intertwine your self-worth with their acceptance of you, even though they do not practice empathy, do not answer to anyone (no board of ethics) but themselves, and will replace your life goals with theirs because they said it is from God, then this cult of personality will be IT for you! However, if you but cringed at anything stated above, as I did when reviewing my past, then consider taking meditation courses elsewhere else, where meditation is not just a recruitment front.
