By using untaxed dollars in a HSA to pay for deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and some other expenses, you may be able to lower your overall health care costs.
Immunotherapy is the process of gradually introducing the body to tiny amounts of the allergen you’re reacting to and slowly increasing the concentration over time. As your body adjusts, the concentration increases, and the immune system is trained to no longer react to the presence of the allergen in your environment. , with the overall goal of slowly increasing the body’s tolerance to the allergen over time. Allergy immunotherapy can be performed through allergy shots, allergy drops or ExACT Immunoplasty.
The amount you pay out-of-pocket for allergy testing can vary, depending on these four factors: your deductible, co-pay, co-insurance, and in-network providers. While we do accept most insurance carriers, most health insurance companies do not pay for allergy testing until the annual deductible is met. Our self-pay rates for adult allergy testing are $695 and $400 for children (ages 18 mos-10 yrs). Food allergy testing is $400 for both children and adults. We offer payment plans, and we accept CareCredit as well. For more information, please visit our allergy test pricing page.
Our standard allergy testing consists of both skin prick and intradermal testing for patients ages 10 and up. For pediatric patients under age 10 we perform skin prick tests on the back. For any patient that is needing blood testing, we are able to order this locally depending on the needs of the patient.
We accept most major health insurance plans, including Medicare. While we do accept health plans from most insurance carriers, it’s important to know your plan's coverage. Most health insurance companies do not pay for allergy testing until the annual deductible is met.
Aspire does not require a referral, however if you plan on using health insurance to pay for your appointment, your specific health plan may require you to have a referral.
