We offer traditional Appalachian fare and ingredients prepared in ways intended to delight and surprise. These humble beginnings are a rich source of inspiration for culinary adventures. We pay homage to the essence of the original dishes but are not constrained by convention, adding dashes of flavor and component combinations arising from customs a world away. We attempt to reveal the true character of the food presented within a cultural context highlighted by influences from around the globe.

Many restaurants boast their "Farm-to-Table" offerings, but it is more than a marketing slogan at TerraMae – it represents the very core of who we are. Our menu changes weekly inspired by the seasonal ingredients that come through our door. Mark’s wife, Sharon, lovingly tends a dedicated farm near Nashville that supplies much of our warm weather produce. Great food begins with fresh, quality sourced ingredients.
