Looking For Engineering Construction?

About Engineered Foundation Technologies, Llc

Engineered Foundation Technologies ("EFT") is the leading provider of slabjacking to the New England and New York regions. Our skilled crews provide the highest level of slabjacking work for both the residential and commercial sectors. Property managers, engineers, and building owners owners all benefit from our knowledge of geotechnical engineering and construction. Clients Deserve Engineered Solutions. EFT strives to provides cost-effective solutions to solve difficult construction problems, offering a vast-array of cutting-edge construction technologies to the Northeast Region. Clients greatly benefit from our diverse knowledge in geotechnical engineering design and construction.

Who We Service:
EFT provides engineered solutions to municipalities, property managers, commercial and industrial clients, and homeowners alike. EFT is actively involved in several trade organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers, The Granite State Geo-Institute and the Deep Foundations Institute. EFT has also participated in several local charities, including the Arthritis Foundation. EFT strongly promotes sustainable construction, strongly believing that the construction industry has a responsibility to explore and offer more environmentally responsible solutions to clients.

Foundation Engineers and Contractors:
Settling Foundation Repair: Our background in Geo-Structural engineering and construction provides clients with the highest level of foundation repair expertise in the New England region. We engage a multitude of technologies to solve structural foundation problems.

Foundation Wall Repair: There are several foundation wall repair technologies available, and your Engineered Foundation Technologies representative will explain them all to you, so that you can choose the system that will work best in your home.

Settling Foundation Repair: EFT specializes in repairing settling foundations. Clients greatly benefit from our diverse experience in Geo-Structural engineering and construction.

Bowing Basement Wall Repair: Symptoms of bowing basement walls with a block foundation can include horizontal cracks in mortar joints, stair-step cracks at outside corners, horizontal shearing at the bottom of the wall and tipping at the top of the wall. In some extreme cases you may witness more than one or all of these symptoms and may even notice basement walls that are bulging and have cracks all throughout the wall. If this is the case, the wall may be on the verge of a collapse.

Helical Piles
Helical piles provide deep foundation solutions for new structures planned with poor soil conditions. Helical pile anchors provide cost effective and vibration free alternatives to traditional pile driving.

Helical pile anchors provide cost-effective solutions to supporting buildings over poor soil conditions. Helical piers are ideal for projects where noise and vibrations are construction considerations, especially for site located within heavily populated areas. Helical piers produce so little vibration that they can be safely installed adjacent to existing foundations without concern.

Common applications for helical pile anchors include:
•Deep Foundation Support for New Construction: Foundation projects can be stalled when poor soils conditions are unexpectedely discovered. Helical piers can be an economical solution to providing deep foundation support.

•Foundation Underpinning: Helical piles can provide support for existing foundations built over poor soil conditions. The technology can also be used to support a foundation while contaminated soils are dug out from underneath during an environmental remediation projects.

•Helical Tiebacks for Earth Support: Helical piles work very well for providing earth support for both temporary and permanent retaining walls, including marine bulkheads, soldier pile walls, and sheet pile walls as well.

•Environmental Boardwalk Support: Boardwalks construction can be supported by helical piers in environmentally sensitive areas. Even during construction, helical piers minimally impact the surrounding areas and are also made of recycled steel as well.

Urethane Foam Injections:
Urethane Foam Injections: High density urethane foam is ideal for void filling and concrete slabjacking applications.

Urethane foam technology provides structural engineers and contractors cost-effective solutions for soil and concrete problems. Urethane foam is capable of achieving very high compressive strengths and is very lightweight, with densities ranging from 2 pcf to 12 pcf, varying on the application and foam mix used.

Slabjacking involves lifting a settled concrete slab through an injection process. Urethane foam is ideal for lifting concrete slabs, as the urethane foam provides numerous advantages over traditional cement grouts.

Urethane foam is capable of repairing:
•Airport Runways
•Concrete Highways
•Sunken Concrete Floors
•Subsurface/Under slab Void Space
•Settled Concrete Slabs

Slabjacking:
Slabjacking Technology is an effective means for lifting sunken concrete.

Infrastructure Rehabilitation: High-tech polyurethane foam injections can lift concrete highways. The polyurethane foam hardens in just 15 minutes, strong enough even for heavy trailers. Polyurethane slab jacking lessens construction impact to public roads, limiting commuters time in construction-related traffic jams.

Slabjacking is an efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly way to raise a settling concrete slab. In use for over 60 years, slabjacking is a time proven method to lift sunken concrete. The process is also referred to as mudjacking, pressure grouting, and polyjacking as well.

Slab Repair: EFT is the only contractor in the Northeast Region to offer both and polyurethane slabjacking traditional mudjacking.

Polyurethane Foam provides clients with a rapid means to lift a sunken slab with minimal disruption. This new age material is both lightweight and high strength, making it perfect for Civil Engineering applications.
Mudjacking is an older term for slabjacking, referring to the process of lifting sunken concrete.
