Pizzeria Scotty

Pizzeria Scotty is the culmination of my restaurant career dating back nearly 40 years. In 1968, at the age of 15, I got my first restaurant job working as a busboy at Arlington Park Racetrack in suburban Chicago. From that point on, I hoped that someday my name would be on the sign over the front door of my own business. With few exceptions, I have spent my entire life in the hospitality business. During the summer of 1972, in the waning years of the Vietnam era, I was drafted into military service. I chose to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps. Having the ambition to excel, I was twice meritoriously promoted and within 17 months achieved the rank of non-commissioned officer. Upon my honorable discharge in 1974, until the present, I have worked in the restaurant and hospitality business as a busboy, dishwasher, cook, bartender, manager and general manager. In August of 1985, I moved to Wisconsin to open and manage a new pizzeria located at 9809 W. Oklahoma Avenue in Milwaukee, exactly where Pizzeria Scotty is located today. Since early 1995, I have been the sole owner of that pizzeria. For the first 22 years I did business under a different name, through a licensing agreement with a family-owned pizza group out of Chicago. With a desire to finally put “my name on the sign over the front door,” I created this new enterprise, Pizzeria Scotty. The only thing different is the name. I am still the owner. My management team and staff is still the same. AND, our quality food and service remain unchanged. Over the coming weeks and months, you will see new menu items offered, as well as new value-based specials and coupons. This new enterprise is founded on the same principles that made my original pizzeria successful. All of us at Pizzeria Scotty are on a mission. It is summed up in our mission statement, which reads as follows: “Pizzeria Scotty succeeds by delivering outstanding performance and providing value to our customers. We are passionate about producing the most appetizing and delicious pizza you will find anywhere, using only the finest and freshest ingredients. We believe in service beyond the expectations of our customers. Pizzeria Scotty is dedicated to pushing the limits of excellence, and providing the finest and healthiest food products attainable in the pizza industry. By adhering to these lofty goals, the Company expects to grow and make a reasonable return on its investment. If I can’t make things right, I will gladly give your money back!” Pizzeria Scotty specializes in carryout and delivery. As such, we do not have a dining room or offer on-premise seating. We utilize a computerized order-taking system that makes placing your order quick and simple. If you choose to use a credit or debit card, that’s no problem. We accept all major credit cards for pick up or delivery. We’re open for lunch Monday through Friday at 11 a.m., offering delivery service to your home or business.
