The dental implant surgery that I underwent at Malo Dental Implant Center was a success. I was having a number of missing teeth due to my negligence in taking care of my oral health that eventually resulted in the failing of my teeth. Before entering the center, I was fearful about the whole procedure – how painful it might be and how much time will it take to get my teeth back. On the contrary, to my surprise, it was not at all painful and the healing time was also short. I am very much pleased with the quality of the services at Malo Dental Implant Center. My general dentist, who found that a root canal he had performed had failed, referred me to MALO Advanced Oral Rehabilitation. He said the tooth would very likely need to be extracted and while he could do that himself, he thought it would be best to get a dental implant specialist to first take a look. That way, if necessary, they could replace the decayed tooth immediately after extraction. So, I did as recommended and went for a consultation with Dr. Steven Moss. An X-ray revealed that the tooth would have to come out, so I booked myself in for the procedure.

On the day, I was quite nervous. I had been in a lot of pain before then, so I imagined it would only get worse. Boy was I wrong! After receiving some local anesthesia and a sedative, which I opted for, the procedure went by in a blur! I didn’t feel any pain and “woke up” afterwards with a new tooth that looked beautiful and healthy. I was given pain-killers to control any discomfort I felt in the ensuing days, but I only used them that night and again in the morning. After that, I really had no complaints! My new tooth has healed beautifully and I am amazed at just how smoothly the procedure went.
