ABOUT DARIAN HAMPTON, DDS Darian L. Hampton, DDS, has received several awards for excellence in dentistry. The Consumers’ Research Council of America has selected Dr. Hampton for the America’s Top Dentist Award for the past four years (2009 to 2012). The International Association of Dentists also recognized him as a Leading Physician of the World in May 2012. Dr. Hampton earned his bachelor’s degree in biology (with a minor in theater) from the University of Missouri – Columbia. While at “Mizzou,” Dr. Hampton utilized his photographic memory and musical aptitude to learn to play the organ and piano. Eventually, he turned his enthusiasm for the arts into a passion for dental arts, which he cultivated at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn. In addition to earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, while in Nashville Dr. Hampton also held the post of minister of music for his church. He also met the future Mrs. Hampton. Dr. and Mrs. Hampton regularly provide volunteer and mentoring services to the community. Dr. Hampton recently participated in the Texas Mission of Mercy in Dallas. During this mission, he and other dentists helped more than 1,000 patients over two days by providing pro bono dental services. In addition, Dr. Hampton is a member of the American Dental Association and the National Dental Association.
