Baltimore Licensed Movers

We've moved several times over the years and used different companies; this company definitely was the best of the moving companies in every way. They were friendly over the phone and in person when the moving crew showed up; even though it was over 100 degrees, they didn't slow down or show any signs of wear. The move was a big one and we ordered full packing and unpacking service which they called white glove service and we HIGHLY recommend that service if you can. In our new home there were a few issues due to the parking and streets, their truck which was huge could not fit or even get within any reasonable walking distance had to park several miles away at a shopping center and they had to rent a smaller truck from Budget in order to deliver our furniture and boxes. They told us from the start that it may be a problem but we hoped and prayed for the best. The rental and parking situation put our delivery back a full day and even though their dispatcher Steven had already reserved a back-up rental, when James arrived to pick it up, they informed him that they didn't have it available and apologized and his dispatch then had to hunt down another rental truck which took hours and then finding a place to park this tremendous truck and trailer took another hour or so. We decided due to the size of our shipment to just start the next morning early instead of starting at 4:00 in the afternoon. No other hitches or delays or damages from then on. We appreciate everything their stuff did for us to alleviate any stresses associated with moving. They did an outstanding job and we will refer many other families to them. All in all great service, cheap rates, friendly customer service and very professional movers!

I wasn't sure what to expect from a mover considering all the negative reviews I read all over the internet. I found a few companies with mostly positive reviews and out of the few I chose Baltimore Licensed Movers (410) 773-9441 due to all the reviews and their better business bureau rating being an A which was for me the deciding factor. They quoted me $3,700 for my move from New York to California and gave me a 2 day spread for my pick-up. They called me a day before the pick-up to verify my address and told me to expect the driver between 9 and 2. The driver (Mitch) showed up at 11:30 and loaded the truck and informed me that several pieces of glass (a TV unit, tabletop and mirror) required packing and said "you can do it while we pack the rest of the truck or I can do it and normally we charge $25.00 per piece but we can do it for $50.00" deal. The guys were professional and fast and my delivery on the other end was aweless. Great job to all involved. Highly recommended company.

Our family has used Baltimore Licensed Movers 410-773-9441 for 2 personal moves, first from Baltimore, MD to Baltimore, MD in March of 07 and second last month from Baltimore to Short Hills New Jersey and both were exceptional. Also, our cousin used them back in October for her move from Baltimore, MD to Maryland and she too had a good move. Our crew was Ian and Damien Mueller both totally professional and very efficient. We will most likely be moving again within the next year or 2 and will post another review based on that move as we will be using their company again. Very honorable, reliable and very professional.

I was really surprised to see these people’s honesty. I’ve moved before, but those people cheated me with the contract & the service. Baltimore Licensed Movers charged a very affordable rate & there was no hidden cost. The service was also just the way they said it would be. I’m saying this from my personal experience; you guys can surely trust them.

After searching literally dozens of moving companies, brokers and even do-it-yourself options such as u-pack and pods we narrowed our options down to two other options and really chose Baltimore Licensed Movers 410-773-9441 based on their price being almost a thousand dollars less than other companies. They were professional and really a polite bunch of gentleman that took every step to ensure that this relocation was great. I heard about Baltimore Licensed Movers 410-773-9441 from a co-worker who had moved from Baltimore, MD to New York. She recommended them because she had a lot of antiques and they didn't scratch or break a thing. I had some antiques as well, and thought that it would be worth it to give them a try. The price was slightly higher than other movers. The appraiser who called was very professional and caring--he even offered to help me get rid of things that I decided I didn't want to take with me. The men who came to move me out finished the job in just over 3 hours, and were within the days they estimated for delivery. One man did the entire inventory, and the other did all the lifting. The only thing I didn't like was that there was only one man doing the labor, I didn't like seeing my 150 year old kitchen table hoisted over his back. It scared me that he would drop it. But in the end nothing was broken or scratched. I packed my own things, so I can't give an opinion on the packing service. I can tell you from personal experience that this is a top notch company that actually does what they say they will do when they say it.

I can't even believe I'm giving moving company 5 stars, but these guys were really that good. Baltimore Licensed Movers 410-773-9441 are really, the best movers I've ever had. The people I talked to on the phone to set up my service were very helpful and courteous. The guys who showed up not only spoke English, but were actually helpful young dudes, very easy to talk to, all around nice guys. They offered to come early when their previous gig ended early, the never dilly dallied or took breaks - they were moving quickly the entire time. They didn't complain about how much stuff I had or the 3 flights of stairs they had to walk up and down over and over again. Anything I asked them to do, the answer was "sure, no problem". After using Golan's last time around and having them (literally) throw breakable things into my storage unit, try to bring my grill into the house, take numerous breaks, give me attitude for having "as much stuff as a family", damage several pieces of furniture and not even be able to communicate with them because they didn't speak the language, I could not have picked a better alternative this time around. HIGHLY recommend using these guys - you will not be disappointed.

3 weeks ago I had a little problem. I was told that I had to move out of my place to the7/31/11 and I had a long time without needing any movers. After recommendation of a co-worker I called Baltimore Licensed Movers 410-773-9441. And I did not regret it! After a free estimate over the phone with a very friendly customer service agent, I hired them and had to deal with qualified movers! They were on time, nothing got broken and it was really fast which means cheap in this industry! I would use Baltimore Licensed Movers 410-773-9441 again!

Even though we have moved several times over the last 16 years, each time has been very stressful for our family and our animals (we have 2 dogs and 5 cats) but each time thankfully has been pretty good and I guess we have been lucky and out of those moves the only considerable damage was to an oversized armoire. Our last relocation through Baltimore Licensed Movers (410) 773-9441 was our first with them and close to the best. They were very reasonably priced and easy to work with and very thorough and professional to speak with. Our furniture arrived without and visible damage and the delivery time was quick enough at 8 days and our price wasn't changed on us after pick-up. Drivers were professional and everything turned out really good. All in all excellent customer service, great communication with the manager and very skilled movers.
