I called and spoke with Dr. Hawke, and asked about his fees. I didn't have insurance, and asked how much it was without it, I was told $45. I asked if I was required to get x-rays, and he said if I had no recent accidents, no. This was all I was told, and given my appointment time for my free consultation. I arrived, filled out the paperwork, and went in to speak with him. After almost 40 minutes of questioning, he informs me that to go the next step in the process I would have to come in for a wellness 'exam' for $90! This was never mentioned on the phone, and I stated as such, telling him he had wasted both our time. I could not afford the $90, and was seriously only needing chiropractic, not a 'wellness exam'. I feel he omits this information to get people in the door. He did not apologize, and was curt thereafter. I do not recommend this chiropractor to anyone.
