We used this moving service company based entirely on this site and the comments left here, and so I wanted to leave a rave review here for our recent move. My company was paying for the service, the $1260 price quote came in under that amount, and I liked the way I was treated and our communication with Janet, so we booked them for our long distance move. Their staff arrived 15 minutes early and loaded our third-floor two-bedroom apartment in about 3 hours. They were very careful with everything, and dealt with care and really well with our furniture. The amount they could haul was amazing! We met them in the city and they sent an extra guy to help with the unload, which made it a lot quicker considering the small elevator. The unload took about 2.5 hours, so the whole day (load, drive, unload) took 12 hours. They came in a little over the estimate, but we paid the capped rate and we gave just over a $250 tip. We really liked their help from the customer service, and their rates and the pricing policy. The guys were all very nice, friendly, and professional. We definitely plan to use them again if possible in future moves.

We were moving our furniture from our house to a storage unit in the same neighborhood last month. We decided to hire this local moving service company based on our previous experience with these guys in 2009. We were extremely pleased with the help we've got from their Customer Service lady. The entire stuff including our moving crew and the Office staff were courteous, professional, and worked very hard, helping us to schedule our relocation and the movers for carrying heavy furniture and boxes up and down stairs for 5+hours. We are very pleased and will definitely use these movers again!

These movers really saved me when the original company I hired did not show up. I called Moving And Storage at 9am on Sunday, October 17th, they took all of my information, gave me a quote and had a truck with 3 movers at my building by 1pm. They were fast, efficient, careful and friendly. They packed loaded and delivered my things from Fort Lee NJ to NYC in 4 hours, AMAZING! The best part was that the quote was what I paid at delivery, no inflation like all of the other times I have moved, great service!

Just a note of thanks for your services on Saturday. Lenny & James are wonderful guys. Moving And Storage arrived early and could not have been more courteous, helpful, and professional. I had a horrible experience the last time I moved and was full of anxiety as the morning of this move arrived. As soon as they introduced themselves, smiled, and went to work ? I calmed down. Should I need to move again, or move items, I will not only not hesitate to call you - I will not have ANY concerns about how the job will be done

I have moved a few times in the past. Moving And Storage are by all means the best!!! they came on time, packed all our 2 bedroom goods, delivered everything within the planned time, no extra charges, no damages, no headache.

I was extremely impressed with the service I received from the Moving and storage com. The crew that was sent was prompt, courteous, efficient and very detail oriented. I had alot of delicate ceramic ware that they packed very carefully. They handled all my property in that way. I would highly recommend this moving company to my friends. Overall, they did a great job!

We recently completed our last minute move with Moving And Storage from Manhattan to Lodi, NJ. We didn't have a big house to move or anything just a 1 bedroom apartment. When the guys did arrive the next morning they showed up at 8:30 which was a little earlier than we had expected but those guys must be real morning people because I have never seen some guys work so efficiently at moving furniture. They had our place packed and ready to go in a little over 2 hours. The last few times we've moved it's taken the movers the majority of the day to pack up our place. These guys were hard working and very quick about it. I could tell these guys were the real pros and it really showed. That made us feel very good about our decision to use this Manhattan based moving company!!!

I highly recommend Moving And Storage !!! We hired them on July 29th to take a truckload from 1 house and 3 storage units and move it all under one roof-a total nightmare for us no matter which way you look at it. Our 4 guys showed up on time and extremely professional and never even blinked an eye when they found out how big the job was actually going to be. They totally rolled with it, they were fast, courteous, carefully packed and moved everything as if it were there own despite all the lugging and me barking orders on where everything was supposed to go (2 floors plus a basement!). They were a great bunch of guys and Harry was wonderful on the phone which was why we went with them in the first place, well, that and she offered the best price around! My aunt will be moving in Sept. and I have already referred her to Moving And Storage. They totally made a potentially stressful move seem like such a breeze-they were great!!!
