Not only did she take them on walks, allow them into her home, but also let me talk to them on the phone. They were well taken care of and groomed beautifully when we picked them up. Our pets are important to us and we are particular about who we leave them with. Tracey researched the breed prior to grooming them, and you can tell that she is passionate about animals. reproduced from yelp

I looked for a groomer within a predetermined radius and found Tracey, Owner of Dog Gone Chic. Tracey fit my appointment in and I took Ms. Pearl (our Toy Poodle) for her first appointment and I was very pleased with the outcome. Tracey did an awesome job. As a result of this visit, Ms. Pearl has had subsequent visits to Dog Gone Chic for grooming. Dog Gone Chic has become our groomer of choice. Tracey is by far the best groomer in the greater Camden, Elizabeth City, and Currituck County area. Tracey is very gentle with our Ms. Pearl and provides attention to every detail to include Ms. Pearls teeth. I highly recommend Dog Gone Chic for anyone looking for a caring and gentle groomer with working hours that support your schedule. I commute daily into Virginia to work during the week. This does not provide much time to run back to NC for Dog Grooming. Tracey weekend hours allows me to fit Ms. Pearl in for grooming. As anyone with a Poodle knows every six weeks is required. I am very pleased with the services provided and highly recommend Dog Gone Chic for your animal grooming needs. Tracey cares very much about her clients and understands our working schedule. We heard about Dog Gone Chic through a mutual friend and tried her out. We immediately knew she loves her job. She was so gentle and compassionate toward our Labradoodle, Lucy. She went above and beyond with her services. She has recently started boarding dogs and we were very pleased when we picked Lucy up in a week. In addition to her being groomed she surprised my daughter with giving Lucy a purple pedicure! We loved it. So very pleased with her grooming and boarding services.
